在 macOS Monterey 的前几代系统，苹果通常会选择一张与 macOS 名称对应的风景图片作为桌面墙纸，但在 macOS Monterey 中，苹果则选择了抽象版本的墙纸。国外 YouTuber 和摄影师 Andrew Levitt 表示很不爽，与是他和自己对饿两位朋友一起踏上旅程，前往 Monterey，想要为 Monterey 拍这一张风景桌面墙纸。
经过数天寻找，他们终于找到了理想的风景，并使用延时摄影拍摄并制作了动态版本的 Monterey 风景墙纸。
Monterey 风景墙纸提供了两种版本，静态和动态。
